Italy and Sweden are adopting various measures to promote the development of a new paradigm for transportation that is intelligent, safe, and sustainable. From the implementation of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for traffic management to the development of connected road infrastructure, from promoting electric mobility to experimenting with connected and autonomous vehicles (CAV), the common goal is to improve road safety, manage traffic, reduce emissions, and foster innovation in the transport sector.
International collaboration and a multidisciplinary approach to these topics are often a winning formula for driving innovation in the sector. For this reason, we believe that an exchange between Italy and Sweden on these subjects could be very interesting.
The aim of the event Sweden-Italy Transport Forum – Smart, Safe & Sustainable Roads is to bring together OEMs, road operators, private companies, local administrations, and technology and software providers to discuss the proposed topics from multiple perspectives and explore potential collaborations for intelligent, safe, and sustainable road transport.
