Road Health and Winter Road Insights services to Latvian State Roads

NIRA Dynamics is pleased to announce the successful sale of its Road Health and Winter Road Insights services to Latvian State Roads (LVC). Latvian State Roads is responsible for managing the state road network, ensuring its durability, safety, and environmental sustainability.

Under this agreement, NIRA Dynamics' innovative services will support Latvian State Roads in fulfilling its responsibilities, including the management, preservation, and development of the state road network. The Road Health service will enable real-time monitoring of road quality, alerting LVC if any roads fall below predefined thresholds, while Winter Road Insights will provide comprehensive insights into road conditions during winter maintenance operations.

NIRA Dynamics' Road Health and Winter Road Insights services leverage connected vehicle data to deliver automated and objective road monitoring. By analyzing road roughness, friction, potholes, and wetness data, these services enhance traffic safety and reduce operational costs. They provide high-confidence regional alerts for hazardous road conditions and enable objective evaluations of the entire road network.
