A Special Journey to Align and Innovate
A few weeks ago, 145 of us from NIRA Dynamics came together for a special trip to Ystad Saltsjöbad, where we spent three days focusing on innovation, collaboration, and the workplace. With colleagues joining us from our offices in Shanghai, Tokyo, São Paulo, and Detroit, this journey wasn’t just a chance to step away from the office, but an opportunity to look ahead and align on our culture and core values as a global team.
Workshops and Collaboration
Our time was packed with workshops, group activities, and discussions, with a focus on creating, quite literally, one of the largest product innovation roadmaps we've ever tackled. We also took a deep dive into NIRA’s culture and values, having open conversations about how we want to continue shaping the workplace and what kind of environment we want to foster moving forward.
Balancing Work with Fun and Relaxation
Beyond the work, we made sure to take time for fun and relaxation. Many of us took part in sports and fitness activities like tennis, yoga, running, and padel, while others enjoyed the chance to unwind at the spa. These moments allowed us to connect with each other in new ways, strengthening relationships that help drive our success.
Celebrating a Major Milestone
One of the highlights of the trip was the evening when we all came together to celebrate a major achievement—reaching over 100 million units sold of our Tire Pressure Indicator. We have come a long way as a company since the start, and this was a great moment to acknowledge the hard work of everyone at NIRA and reflect on what we’ve accomplished together. The night was filled with good conversations, great food, and above all, a great party!
Looking Forward
Looking back at those three days, it’s clear that we left Ystad Saltsjöbad with renewed energy, a stronger sense of direction, and a deeper connection as a team. With our global colleagues joining us, we’re excited for what’s ahead and are ready to keep moving forward with the same dedication and drive that has brought us this far.
