From Application Engineer to Tech Lead

I graduated from Linköping University in 2015 with a degree in Engineering Physics, specializing in Control and Information Systems, and joined NIRA Dynamics soon after as an Application Engineer. My initial work involved close collaboration with customers to map and fine-tune algorithms, ensuring our solutions were tailored to their needs. After two years, I transitioned to Tech Lead. 

In my role as a part of the Customer Delivery team, I ensure technical delivery aligns with customer expectations. This role involves direct technical discussions, overseeing daily development, and staying engaged in each project phase, from initial planning and data collection to final performance verification in the customer’s environment 

Balancing Customer Needs with Technical Performance Standards 

I mainly work on our Tire Pressure Indicator product, a mature product with clear performance standards. While customer requirements often are similar across clients, subtle expectations can emerge that I’ve learned to anticipate. Balancing these is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction without exceeding technical limits.  

Navigating Challenges 

Challenges can arise when things don’t go as planned, which can happen since our product is often part of a larger system. In these cases, we remain agile and responsive, quickly addressing any issues. Our adaptive, customer-centered approach makes it easy for customers to work with NIRA. Customer satisfaction is core to our culture, reflected in our responsiveness, flexibility, and open communication.
